From our Campus Pastor
Happy Easter! I love this time of year, the weather is perfect, the flowers all start blooming, and we get to celebrate the greatest event in human history together! As we prepare to celebrate Easter this Sunday, there are a few friendly reminders I’d love to pass along.
First, it’s not too late to invite a friend/neighbor/or co-worker to an Easter service with you! There will be four services from which to choose:
- Our Crosspoint Kids: Family Experience will be on Saturday, April 20 at 3 p.m. This is a great event for families with Elementary school students, and there will be carnival style games and bounce houses after the service.
- On Sunday, April 21 we’ll have three services at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m.
Second, if you consider Crosspoint your church home and you don’t have a guest joining you for a service, we’re asking that you please attend the 8 a.m. service. We’re expecting a very large crowds on Easter (especially at the 9:30 a.m. service), and we’d love to reserve that time slot for our first time guests. In order to make it easier to get your family to our 8 a.m. service we’ll be providing a free pancake breakfast starting at 7:15 a.m., so bring the kids early and enjoy some pancakes together!
Third, if you are physically able to, please plan on parking across the street at Davidson Middle School. Our parking lot will be overflowing on Easter (what a great problem to have) and we’d love for our church family to reserve the best parking spots for those who need to hear the gospel the most.
Thanks in advance for your help in making this the best Easter we’ve had at Crosspoint, North Crestview so far! We can’t wait to see what God has in store for us!

NEW LIFE GROUP: “QUESTIONING FAITH”
Whether you are a skeptic and don’t have a faith of your own, or you’re a Christian and have questions about your faith, this three week life group is for you! Join us on Sunday mornings at the 11:00 a.m. service starting on April 28 as we explore Christianity, and are free to ask tough questions about what Christianity is, and why we believe what we do.
New to our church? Find out what we’re all about! Here at Crosspoint, we’re all about “Connecting People to Christ”. It’s our vision, and everything we do flows right out of these four words: come, meet, grow, serve. While there are endless ways for you to get connected to our faith community, we feel the best first step begins with “Discover Crosspoint”.
APRIL PRESCHOOL FOCUS: PACK A PICNIC – JESUS IS MY FRIEND
God created us to be in a relationship with Him and in relationships with people here on earth. He wants us to have friends, and He wants us to be a good friend. This month, our preschoolers will learn that Jesus is their friend – the best friend they will ever have.

APRIL ELEMENTARY FOCUS: BRIGHT SIDE – FIND THE LIGHT IN THE DARK
We can’t always understand why some things happen. But we can believe in a God who keeps His promises. We can have hope, even in the toughest times, because we know He can make something good out of something bad.

NEW SERIES: UNDERRATED
Have you ever felt underrated or underestimated because of your age? Join us starting Sunday, April 28, as we look at what was said to a young church leader named Timothy and we’ll find that when it comes to our faith, instead of being underrated, we can own it.
Crosspoint Students will be opening up the North Crestview Cafe area on Tuesday afternoons from 2:00-4:00 p.m. for students who want to socialize, play games, and get ahead on homework. Contact Ryan Klug for more information.
You will find a fun, engaging service designed specifically for students grades 6-12. At Crosspoint you will experience some incredible music, great food, crazy games and you might just laugh your head off. The students will then break out into Small Groups. Small Groups are gender specific and are led by a group leader. We feel the best environment for life change happens in circles not in rows. You do not want to miss this amazing environment every Sunday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on our North Crestview Campus, 6268 Old Bethel Rd.
